About this game
This Is Very Three Kingdoms is a lightweight Three Kingdoms strategy game that runs in the browser. Players start from the situation in the autumn of the 13th year of Jian'an; after that, history is no longer preset, and the course of the realm is determined by rules and player decisions.
In terms of gameplay, a quarter is the turn unit. Each quarter has 10 action points that do not accumulate; after they are used up or the player actively ends the turn, the other factions act in sequence. The map contains ten factions, 67 strategic points, 133 serving generals, and 50 unaffiliated generals. Players can click strategic points to view ownership, stationed generals, and executable actions, and carry out point-by-point marching, talent recruitment, personnel management, internal affairs, diplomacy, and prisoner handling. Combat is manually operated step by step, including formation, action bar, attack and guard, and battle reports. A session moves from early exploration and mid-game management and expansion toward victory/defeat settlement. Progress is automatically saved locally at the start of each turn, and there are also manual save slots.
The current version 1.0.0 is the first playable version. According to the official description, the main experience is concentrated on early exploration and mid-game management and expansion; strategic differentiation and long-term replayability in the mid-to-late game still need improvement. The formal event system, general special skills and troop-type counters, formal character portraits, stronger AI for other factions, and mobile adaptation are all scheduled after 1.0; currently there is only one temporary event. The game is mainly aimed at desktop browsers, and it is recommended to use Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari from the past two years; it can also be launched locally via npm install and npm run dev. The project is open source under the MIT license.
