Six footballers, one odd one out - I made a football trivia game with four difficulty levels

Hi everyone! ⚽ ⠀ I've recently launched a free football trivia website called Shotle, and one of the games is Odd One Out . ⠀ You can play here: https://playshotle.com/odd-one-out ⠀ The concept is simple: you're shown six footballers. Five share a hidden connection, but one doesn't belong. ⠀ Here's an example from today's game: ⠀ 1️⃣ Edinson Cavani ⠀ 2️⃣ Christian Vieri ⠀ 3️⃣ İlkay Gündoğan ⠀ 4️⃣ Sergio Agüero ⠀ 5️⃣ Alessandro Del Piero ⠀ 6️⃣ Gabriel Batistuta ⠀ Can you identify the odd one out AND work out what connects the other five? ⠀ The game has four difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert . ⠀ The connections get progressively trickier, so the later rounds are designed to test even the most obsessive football knowledge — from forgotten career details to less obvious connections between players. ⠀ I thought this might be right up this sub's street! ⠀ Would love to hear how far you get, especially whether anyone manages to solve the Expert round. 👀 ⠀ And if you know the answer to the example above, please use spoiler tags!   submitted by   /u/ElYaY20   to   r/footballcliches [link]   [comments]
