[Browser] Never played Cities & Knights? I need you to test my tutorial for it (free board game, made with AI)

I make Hearthsea, a Catan-style board game you play in the browser. A player told me this week that Cities & Knights made no sense to someone who'd never played it, and they were right. So I added three short hands-on lessons: commodities and the event die, knights and the barbarians, and progress cards. About 8 minutes in all. I'd like someone who doesn't know Cities & Knights to go through them and tell me where they got lost. How to test Open https://hearthsea.com on a laptop or phone Open Tutorial, then the Cities & Knights group, and play the three lessons If you have time, play one Cities & Knights game against the bots What I want to know After the lessons, could you follow a real game, or were you guessing? Which step made you go "wait, what?" Was there anything on screen you couldn't find? It's free. I'll answer every comment, and if a line is unclear I'll rewrite it. That's already happened once this week: someone screenshotted a lesson that said "card" before ever explaining what a card was. submitted by /u/herXhim_official to r/playtesters [link] [comments]
