About this game
Yojohan (四畳半) is a small browser puzzle game published by the Japanese developer おしょう (currently a prototype, v0.7.4). You place tatami mats one by one on a nine-by-nine grid; only a square room of 3x3 or bigger clears and blooms (2x2 does not), and bigger rooms give showier flowers. Mats can be flipped left-right or up-down, one can be held back, and you can undo a move. The mode visible on the page is a marathon to fill fifty mats, and you can switch between Japanese-style background tracks and sound effects, whose sources are credited inside the game page. It is free and needs no login.
