About this game
MurderXFile is a browser-based murder mystery game. Players investigate fictional cases by examining evidence such as crime scene photos, witness statements, messages, CCTV footage and suspect profiles. Two cases are available; Part 1 of each is free to play and takes around 30 minutes. The developer posted on r/IndieDev asking for specific communities and platforms where players of murder mysteries, deduction games, case-file games, escape rooms and puzzles gather.
