# Tavern Crowns Card Game

Tavern Crowns Card Game is a free browser card game inspired by Gwent, set in a medieval Hungarian world of history and folk-tale monsters. Players face an AI opponent with three difficulty levels.

## Description

Matches use Gwent-style rules: three rounds, two wins needed, and each side begins with ten cards without drawing between rounds. Play is about managing cards rather than piling up points, and intentionally conceding a round can be the stronger choice. Decks include spies, healers, weather cards and a fire that destroys the strongest units. The game offers 162 cards, 22 leaders and five factions, plus a deck builder, painted portraits, an orchestral soundtrack and a rulebook with notes on the history and legends behind the cards. It runs in the browser with nothing to install and also works on mobile; it is still in development, so bugs and unbalanced cards may remain.
