About this game
SimCFB offers a New career, a Quick game, a How to play page and a way to load a backup. In a quick game you pick your team and an opponent from conference lists (SEC, Big Ten, ACC, Big 12; the teams are fictional, such as the Texas Lone Stars and the Georgia Pitbulls), compare their ratings by position, choose a home or away game, and decide how you play it: call only the key situations, call everything, or watch and sim. Calling the key downs takes about 45 to 60 minutes; you can speed up between plays, skip or sim from the pause menu.
It is free and single-player. Saves stay on your device, and a backup can be loaded back in. The site shows its version (v0.2 at the time of listing) and notes that anonymous play stats, with no names or emails, help improve the game.
