About this game
SHITle is a free browser word-ladder game played with four-letter English words. On each move the player changes a single letter to form another valid four-letter word, working step by step until the target word is reached, ideally in as few moves as possible. It offers a daily puzzle that resets at midnight UTC and a separate practice mode; there is no timer and no move limit. No account, download or payment is required, and the author asks that players link to the original game instead of hosting or embedding it. Content note: the game's title and target word contain profanity, so it is not aimed at children.
