# Snake Arsenal

A browser game that blends classic Snake with Vampire Survivors-style bullet heaven: every segment of your neon snake is an auto-firing weapon, three identical segments merge into a stronger one, and you can coil around enemies to crush them. Runs last about ten minutes with bosses, four worlds, permanent upgrades between runs and daily challenges.

## Description

Snake Arsenal is a browser game mixing classic Snake with a Vampire Survivors-style bullet heaven. You steer a neon snake whose body segments are weapons that fire on their own, including blasters, buzzsaws, mortars, tesla coils, side lasers, frost auras, mines and glaives. Eating gems makes the snake longer and levels it up, letting you pick new weapons or bonuses; three identical weapon segments merge into a stronger one up to a golden level 4. Only the head can take damage, so a long body works as a shield, and you can loop your body around a horde of enemies and close the circle to crush everything inside. Each run lasts ten minutes against growing hordes with bosses along the way and a giant Leviathan at the end, across four worlds. Coins earned between runs are spent on permanent upgrades, unlocking new weapons and snake skins, plus daily challenges. It runs in the browser on PC and mobile in 20 languages, with no download and no account needed, and is free to play.

## Original post

My first game (made with AI, not hiding it 😄): Snake meets Vampire Survivors – every segment of your snake is a weapon. Honest feedback welcome!

Hey r/playmygame ! 👋 **Game Title:** Snake Arsenal **Playable Link:** https://zlatansec.itch.io/snake-arsenal **Platform:** Browser (PC and mobile) **Description:** Snake Arsenal is classic Snake mixed with a Vampire Survivors-style bullet heaven. You control a neon snake, and every segment of its body is a weapon that fires on its own: blasters, buzzsaws, mortars, tesla coils, side lasers, frost auras, mines and glaives. Eat gems to grow longer and level up, then pick new weapons or bonuses. Grab 3 identical weapon segments and they merge into a stronger one, all the way up to a golden level 4. Your body works as a shield: only your head can take damage, so a long snake is a safe snake. The Snake twist: loop around a horde of enemies and close the circle with your own body to crush everything inside the loop. It's the most satisfying move in the game! Each run lasts 10 minutes against ever-growing hordes, with bosses along the way and a giant Leviathan at the end. Between runs, you spend coins on permanent upgrades, unlock new weapons and snake skins, and take on daily challenges. There are 4 worlds to clear. It's available in 20 languages, with no download and no account needed. I'd love feedback on three things: did you understand the merge and the coil without reading the "How to play" screen? Is world 1 too hard or too easy? And when did you get bored, if you did? **Free to Play Status:** - [x] Free to play - [ ] Demo/Key available - [ ] Paid **Involvement:** This is my first game and I'm not a programmer, so I want to be upfront about it: the game was made with Claude (an AI). Claude wrote the code, the graphics (all drawn by code), the music and the sound effects. My role was game direction and playtesting: I picked the concept, played it over and over, and pushed for changes. For example, I couldn't beat world 1, so the boss fight was redesigned, and I didn't understand the merge mechanic, so illustrated tutorials were added. No pretension, just a fun little game I'm proud of! submitted by /u/zlatansec to r/playmygame [link] [comments]
