# MKURogue

A free turn-based roguelike played in the browser: you lead a pirate crew through a ship sector by sector, exploring tiles, fighting enemies and collecting upgrades. Runs on desktop and mobile with touch controls, in English and Spanish, and is still in development (v0.15).

## Description

MKURogue is a free turn-based roguelike that runs directly in the browser with no download. You lead a pirate crew through a ship, one sector at a time, exploring each sector tile by tile and fighting enemies in turn-based combat while picking up upgrades and items to help the crew survive the next, harder sector. Each run is different, so you decide when to push on and when to play it safe. It features pixel art with a pirates-plus-tech look, combat animations, sound and music, and colour-blind modes. It plays on both desktop and mobile with touch controls, is available in English and Spanish, and lets players send bugs or ideas from inside the game without creating an account. The game is a solo-developed work in progress (v0.15) and is free to play.

MKURogue - a free turn-based roguelike in your browser: lead a pirate crew through a ship, sector by sector

Game Title: MKURogue Playable Link: https://erikpeto1.itch.io/mkurogue Platform: Web (browser), desktop and mobile Description: MKURogue is a turn-based roguelike where you lead a pirate crew through a ship, one sector at a time. You explore each sector tile by tile, run into enemies and fight them in turn-based combat, picking up upgrades and items as you go so your crew can survive the next sector. Every run is different and each sector gets harder, so you have to decide when to push on and when to play it safe. It has pixel art with a pirates + tech look, combat animations, sound and music. It runs straight in the browser with no download, on both desktop and mobile with touch controls, and it's in English and Spanish. There are also colour-blind modes, and you can send bugs or ideas from inside the game without creating an account. It's still in development (v0.15), so I'm mainly looking for feedback: what feels too easy or too hard, what's confusing, and what you'd like to see next. Free to Play Status: [x] Free to play [ ] Demo/Key available [ ] Paid (Allowed only on Tuesdays with [TT] in the title) Involvement: I'm the solo developer. I'm a software development student and I've been making the game in my spare time: design, code and updates. submitted by /u/ErikPeTo02 to r/playmygame [link] [comments]
