# The Key Company

A free browser game that mixes Wordle-style word guessing with trivia: wrong guesses trigger trivia rounds, and each failed run grants a key power-up for the next attempt, all framed as an employee assessment for a mysterious company.

## Description

The Key Company is a free browser game by an independent developer. Players work through a mysterious company's employee assessment. Incorrect word guesses trigger trivia rounds, and each failed run earns a key power-up that can be used in the next attempt. The developer is seeking feedback on replay value, difficulty balance and question variety.

I made a Wordle type game where every wrong guess triggers a trivia penalty

Hey everyone! I just released my first game, The Key Company, and I’m looking for people to try it out. It’s a free browser game that combines Wordle-style word guessing with trivia. You’re completing a mysterious company’s employee assessment: incorrect guesses trigger trivia rounds, and every failed run earns you a key power up to use in your next attempt. I’m especially interested in whether the game is fun enough to make you want to try another run, how the difficulty feels, and whether the questions have enough variety. Playable link: https://thekeycompanygame.com This is my first game, so honest feedback is genuinely appreciated. Thanks to anyone who gives it a shot! submitted by /u/knyelvr to r/WebGames [link] [comments]
