About this game
I'm a solo dev from Vietnam trying to build an entire online game with AI. Here's what I've made so far 🇻🇳🤖
I'm a developer from Vietnam, and I've been doing a little experiment: What happens if I try to build an entire online game by myself with the help of AI? How far can AI actually take me? Not a tutorial. Not a big studio project. Just me, AI tools, a lot of trial and error, and an idea that kept growing bigger than I originally planned. The result is Zoo Pet , a free browser-based multiplayer game I've been building. 🎮 You can try it here: https://zoo-pet.store/ So, what did this experiment turn into? 🐾 A cozy little world — grow crops, raise animals, decorate your home, and visit other players. 🎣 Fishing with surprises — explore the water and discover creatures that might be much bigger than you'd expect. 🦸 Hero transformations — switch between different forms, from ninjas and mages to mechs and dinosaurs, each with unique skills. 🚀 Nine planets to explore — each with its own environment, challenges, and things to discover. 👾 A giant multiplayer boss — an 80-meter Colossus that players across the server can team up to fight. There's farming, pets, exploration, combat, and multiplayer systems — all things I've been trying to bring together as one person, with AI helping me along the way. And honestly, the process has been a mix of excitement and frustration. AI can help me move faster, explore solutions, and build things I might have struggled with alone. But getting all the pieces to work together, fixing bugs, handling multiplayer, and turning a collection of features into an actual game is a completely different challenge. That's the part I'm most curious about: How much of a real game can one person build with AI today? I'm sharing Zoo Pet not because I think it's perfect, but because I want to see how far this experiment can go — and learn from people who play it. If you try it, I'd really appreciate your honest feedback. What works? What's confusing? What would make you want to come back and play again? And to other developers experimenting with AI: Have you tried building something this ambitious on your own? How far did you get? I'd love to hear your experiences. Thanks for checking out a little project from a solo developer in Vietnam! ❤️🇻🇳 — KNDARK, creator of Zoo Pet submitted by /u/Late-Ad428 to r/aigamedev [link] [comments]
