# Crateful

A cozy farm and market game where you harvest crates, carry them to your market stand and sell them to customers, then reinvest in new fields, farmhands, tractors, field robots and harvest drones across 14 unlockable worlds.

## Description

Crateful is a browser (HTML5) farm and market game that runs on phone and PC, described as best played with one finger on mobile but also working with a mouse. You harvest crates from your fields, carry them to a market stand and sell them to customers; the money buys new fields and farmhands, and later upgrades to tractors, field robots and harvest drones, growing a small wooden stand into a market where self-driving trucks pick up whole pallets. There are 14 worlds to unlock, including Italian orchards, a forest sawmill, an animal farm, a lakeside fishery and a mine. Progress is saved in the browser, and the test version has no ads and no purchases. The developer describes it as a solo project built with the help of an AI coding assistant.

## Original post

I got tired of fake mobile game ads, so I made a farm game where what you see is what you actually play – Crateful (free, browser, no ads)

Game Title: Crateful Playable Link: Crateful - Itch.io Platform: Browser (HTML5) – works on phone and PC Description: You know those mobile game ads that show amazing gameplay – and when you install the game, it's something completely different? That annoyed me for years. So I decided to make my own little game with one simple rule: everything you see in the clip is really in the game. Crateful is a cozy farm and market game. You harvest crates from your fields, carry them to your market stand and sell them to your customers. With the money you build new fields and hire farmhands – later you upgrade to tractors, field robots and finally harvest drones. Your tiny wooden stand grows into a smart market where self-driving trucks pick up whole pallets. There are 14 worlds to unlock, including Italian orchards, a forest sawmill, an animal farm, a lakeside fishery and a mine. It's best on a phone (one finger to move), but works with a mouse too. Your progress is saved in your browser. This test version has no ads and no purchases. I'd really love your feedback: 1. Was it clear what to do in the first minute? 2. When (if at all) did it get boring? 3. Anything that felt buggy, unfair or too slow? Free to Play Status: [x] Free to play [ ] Demo/Key available [ ] Paid Involvement: Solo developer. I came up with the idea and the game design, and built it with the help of an AI coding assistant. Thanks a lot for playing! submitted by /u/T0M-ahawk to r/playmygame [link] [comments]
