## Description

Dig, Cubby, Dig! is a 2D pixel-art digging adventure built by the author with Claude Code. Players dig for buried chests, carry them home, wait for an alarm clock to ring, and collect artifacts, with up to six players sharing the same world. The client uses TypeScript, PixiJS 8 and Vite; the server runs Nakama and Postgres on one VM for accounts, worlds, chests and chat; nearby players connect over WebRTC for movement and voice. It is free to try in the browser and needs no sign-up.

## Original post

I built a multiplayer browser game with Claude Code in 3 weeks. Here's the setup that worked and what it still needs me for

What it is: Dig, Cubby, Dig!, a 2D pixel digging adventure. You dig for buried chests, carry them home, wait for an alarm clock to ring and collect artifacts. Up to 6 players share a world. Free to try in the browser, no sign-up: https://cubbydig.io Stack: TypeScript, PixiJS 8 and Vite on the client; Nakama + Postgres on one VM for accounts, worlds, chests and chat; WebRTC between nearby players for movement and voice. How I use Claude Code: it writes all of the code. I describe what I want in plain words, it asks about the unclear parts, builds it on its own branch, and I play every change in the running game before it gets merged. About 440 commits since September 20. Where it still needs me: taste. Flat-looking turns, legs detached from bodies, and one whole parallax system I threw away. And anything that touches production waits for my explicit go-ahead. By the way, I'm a developer by profession with over 25 years of experience, and the visual side has always been the hard part for me in game development. And now Claude helps me with it — and I think it does a great job. Happy to answer questions about any part of it. submitted by /u/visemaar to r/ClaudeCode [link] [comments]
