# Years Apart

Years Apart is a daily historical timeline guessing game: each time you are given two historical events, you drag them apart to guess how many years separate them, then compare with the real gap. Five rounds a day, playable in about two minutes.

## Description

Years Apart is a daily historical guessing mini-game that can be played for free in a browser. Each round presents two historical events; the player drags them apart to guess the number of years between them, and after submitting, the actual year gap is shown. There are five rounds each day, taking about two minutes each time. Progress is stored in the browser's localStorage, and there are no ads.

## Original post

Cleopatra lived closer to the Moon landing than to the Great Pyramid, so I made a game about how bad we are at judging time

Made a little daily browser game called Years Apart. You get two moments from history, drag them apart to guess how many years separate them, then see the real gap. Turns out my gut is terrible at this: - Nintendo was founded the year after the Jack the Ripper murders - The samurai's last stand and Star Wars are exactly 100 years apart 5 rounds a day, takes about 2 minutes, free, work on localstorage, no ads. yearsapart.app submitted by /u/Small-Information-62 to r/IndieGaming [link] [comments]
