A tiny single-file watercolor canvas game: water the garden, find five hidden gems in each of the four seasons, and unlock a birthday message.

## Description

Casa de Gemas is a one-file interactive watercolor world drawn with Canvas 2D. The garden starts bare; pick up the watering can to grow plants in the tree bed and in each pot, then explore to find five hidden gems per season. An owl named Oli narrates as spring, summer, autumn and winter arrive with their own transition effects and changing plants. Music is generated live with the Web Audio API, with no images, libraries or build step. A full year takes about 10–15 minutes.

# Casa de Gemas 🏡✨ *A little garden of hidden gems.* Casa de Gemas is a tiny interactive watercolor world made as a birthday gift for a daughter: a whitewashed Spanish house, a bare courtyard, a watering can, and a year of hidden gems. Oli the owl lives on the tower roof and narrates as the garden moves through spring, summer, autumn and winter. Find every gem and, on the last snowy day, "Happy Birthday" rises from the chimney with *her* name in it, along with a stream of balloons. No images, no libraries, no build step. --- ## How to play The garden starts bare. Pick up the watering can and water the tree bed — a hot-pink bougainvillea grows, and every pot you water grows its own little tree in a different bright color. Then explore. Each season has its own gems; each one pops up where you found it and flies to the counter in the top-left. Find them all and Oli says goodbye to the season, and the next season arrives on its own element — a rising sun for summer, a gust of wind full of leaves for autumn, a snowfall for winter — changing the trees and flowers as it passes over them. A full year takes about 10–15 minutes. Every season has five gems. One of them is always a little visitor hiding in one of the blue flower pots on the tower wall — a different pot each season. Tapping a pot mostly just puffs a few petals; each season's visitor comes out for that season's action (in autumn, a tap on the right pot is enough). ### 🌸 Spring (5 gems) | Gem | How to find it | | --- | --- | | 🔊 Music | Tap the little pink speaker on the bench. | | 🌸 Shake | Grab a branch and shake it — every petal falls on its own. | | 🌱 Pots | Water every pot so all the plants grow. | | 🦋 Butterfly | Tap the paint palette on the ground and pick a new petal color. Your butterfly cursor changes color too. | | 🐣 Nest | Water the pots on the tower wall with the can. Each watered pot bursts into a fuller bloom that stays, and one of them hides a nest of chicks. The nest stays in its pot all year; the chicks chirp now and then in spring, and any time your butterfly comes close (with music on).
