# Manager Career

A browser-based football career mode game: pick a club, manage the squad, transfers, youth academy and press conferences, sim through the season, or play in player mode. Saves use the browser's local storage with an export button.

## Description

Manager Career is a football (soccer) career mode game that runs in a single browser tab. You choose a club, manage the squad, transfers, youth academy and press conferences, and simulate through the season; there is also a player mode. The game is a single HTML file with no engine or backend, saves are stored in the browser's local storage, and an export button lets you move a save elsewhere. It is free on itch.io.

Built a full football career mode game that runs in a single browser tab

Side project I’ve been working on: a football career mode game, like the one in FIFA/FC but simpler and playable in the browser. You pick a club, manage the squad, transfers, youth academy and press conferences, and sim through the season. There’s also a player mode. The whole thing is one HTML file, no engine, no backend. Saves go to the browser’s local storage, and there’s an export button if you want to move your save somewhere else. It’s free on itch.io: https://carlosmorataa.itch.io/manager-career Been posting it around and people are actually playing long sessions, which I didn’t expect. Would love feedback on what to build next. submitted by /u/Car1osMBb to r/SideProject [link] [comments]
